Join the race to make the world a better place
Begins 28th May - 5th June 2016
In our rush to get the Green Week program to the printer we forgot to include a very valuable entry from the Australian Bat Clinic who do an amazing job of rehabilitating flying foxes and micro bats, as well as educating the public about the vital role our furry friends play in harmonising our ecosystem. The theme for World Environment Day is about safeguarding endangered species so please show your support for the Australian Bat Clinic which will be open every day during Green Week between 2:00 am - 4:00 pm.
What is Green Week?
Green week is a festival celebrating World Environment Day with 9 days of amazing events and activities aimed at uniting like-minded organisations and raising community environmental awareness throughout the Gold Coast. Green Week is a joint venture between local organisations, community groups, schools and the Gold Coast City Council.
How do I get involved?
It’s easy being green, all you have to do is decide on your event and venue and we will promote your event in our program, which has a 5,000 distribution run, for free. See below for further details of how to sign up before the end of March deadline.
